NEW TO ST. PAT'S? WELCOME!

Whatever brought you here on your journey, welcome home.

Pope Francis said it best: “Knowing Jesus is the best gift that anyone can ever receive. That we have encountered Him is the best thing that has happened in our lives. And making Him known by our deeds and words is our greatest joy.” That's what we're all about at St. Pat’s.

We exist to offer every person in our community a life-changing encounter with Jesus Christ so that we can grow as His intentional and missionary disciples so that we can go out and serve those around us, especially the most vulnerable among us.

If you have been seeking a parish community in which to learn, to pray, to join in social activity and to be of service to others - our doors and hearts are open. We are thankful God has sent you to us, and we welcome you to our parish family at St. Pat’s!

If you are new to the community or checking us out, we hope that you will not be shy about introducing yourself to Fr. Camilo, Fr. Juan, or anyone of our ministry leaders, and contacting us with any questions you have, or assistance we can lend you.

If you are new in the area, interested in learning more about the Catholic faith, or if you cannot find the information you are seeking on this website, please feel free to contact us at (973) 623-0497.

TO THE PARENTS OF YOUNG CHILDREN

• God put the wiggle in children – don’t feel you have to suppress those wiggles in God’s house.

• Quietly explain the parts of the Mass and actions of the priest, musicians, ushers, etc.

• Sing the hymns, pray and voice the responses. Children learn behavior by mimicking you.

• Consider sitting toward the front where it is easier for your little ones to engage.

• If you have to leave the Sanctuary with your child, feel free to do so, but please come back. As Jesus said, “Let the children come to me.”
